One King West Wedding Toronto

Kathleen & Jeff exchanged vows at St. Patrick’s Church in Toronto. Post-ceremony, the couple continued to celebrate with dining and dancing at the historic and grand location that is One King West. The skies opened that day, and it rained and it poured. Are you familiar with the phrase, “it rained cats and dogs”? Well, it rained cats and dogs that day. But, don’t fret! Kathleen & Jeff didn’t. There wasn’t a rain cloud that could dampen the festive air and the love that was shared and celebrated by all who attended this lovely event.

The pre-vows preparation took place at One King West. Kathleen’s “something borrowed”, came lovingly from her Mother in the form of a gorgeous vintage, beaded clutch.

In order to get the details of the bride’s dress just right, the bridesmaids watched an instructional video on how to tie the bow at the back of Kathleen’s dress properly! One King West Wedding-08One King West WeddingOne King West Wedding-10One King West WeddingThe bride was dressed with ribbon and bow, veil and lace. The couple exchanged vows at St. Patrick’s, a beautiful Gothic style church built in 1867.St. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickSt. PatrickAfter the ceremony, we snuck away before the reception began to the urban oasis, Evergreen Brickworks. The rain may have ushered us away from the lush ravine landscape, but it led us to discover some fun and unique sheltered spots for portraits. Some days you just have to create your own sunshine. Many thanks to Kathleen & Jeff, and their wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen, who were able to shine on despite the rain!
