Anne & Sean | Toronto Engagement Photography

I remember when Anne wrote me about the possibility of including their cat in some of the engagement photos. She said “Yeah… I know.  We’re THAT couple.” I read it and thought, “Yeah, I’m totally THAT photographer!” I love these two. They are as crazy about their cat as I am about mine. Cats are special creatures but you never truly understand this until you have been loved, and ignored, by one!

Look how cute they are! I love their coordinating outfits. Even Jules Verne (the furry one) is wearing red. This apparently is a coincidence! Yeah right;)Anne and Sean, I can’t wait for your wedding in September. I know it will be fabulous! My only question is: What will Mr. Verne be wearing for the big day?

Toronto Engagement PhotographyToronto Cat PhotographyToronto Engagement PhotographyIt always amazes me how diverse Toronto is. You can be in the middle of a forest like we are here, a five minute walk from a major intersection. I love this old tree.Toronto Engagement PhotographyToronto Cat PhotographyToronto Engagement PhotographyToronto Engagement PhotographerToronto Engagement PhotographerToronto Engagement PhotographerToronto Engagement PhotographerToronto Engagement Photography

Alexa & Eric | Vancouver Engagement Photography

Ahhh, Vancouver in the sunshine! The most gorgeous place on earth when it’s sunny! I was fortunate enough to be home for a week at the end of May in this glorious sunshine. When I was home I met up with Alexa and Eric for some engagement portraits. We went down to the waterfront on Harbourside Drive near the Northshore Auto Mall. I love the view of Burrard Inlet and Downtown Vancouver from here. Vancouver Engagement PhotographyVancouver Engagement PhotographyVancouver Engagement PhotographyVancouver Engagement PhotographerVancouver Engagement PhotographyVancouver Engagement PhotographyVancouver Engagement PhotographerAs we walked by this truck I noticed a pretty cool reflection. I snapped a few pictures and then its owner arrived and started polishing the side of it with his sleeve. He was pretty stoked for his truck to be a part of our photo shoot. Thanks for the great buffing job!Vancouver Engagement PhotographerVancouver Engagement Photographer

Rachel & Ian | Just because snow and cinnamon hearts are fun

Happy Valentine’s Day! A day that immediately brings to mind love and chocolate and cinnamon hearts. On Saturday I met up with my friends Ian and Rachel. These guys are way too cute and have so much fun together. We spent some time playing in the snow, contemplated the idea of tobogganing for a few minutes, and then thawed out our frozen toes while we drank heart-topped coffees.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Kiss someone you love, hug someone you like, and smile at someone you don’t know. The world can always use just a little more love so go on and spread it!  xoxo
