A little while back I met up with Gail in The Beach to take some maternity yoga pictures, more on that in another post. You may remember Gail from her wedding last summer. Last week Gail and Alex welcomed a beautiful baby girl in to the world. Congratulations!

Here are a few pictures I took of my friends Mailin and Dirk and their daughter Kiara. They are about to welcome their second child into the world and Kiara is pretty excited about being a big sister. You might remember this beautiful family from a session we did almost two years ago now. I can’t believe how fast time goes. Congratulations guys! I had the pleasure of meeting little Noah when he was just shy of 3 weeks old. He is the first child of my friends Aaron and Alyssia. Noah is such a little angel and I know they are just smitten with him.

Aaron and I met in grad school. We shared an office together as well as many laughs. Lately it seems like everyone I know is having a baby. It is so cool to see your friends become parents! I have a cat… she is my baby (insert crazy cat lady joke here). I think he was actually sleeping in this next one. He is quite the active sleeper! Congratulations guys! Here are a few pictures of my friend Erika and her son Aiden I took on a recent trip to San Francisco. Erika is expecting her second child. When I think of glowing in the context of pregnancy this is exactly what I think of. She’s got it down! Erika, you look fantastic!

I think all the talk of bellies got Aiden thinking we wanted to see his! Congratulations Erika, Tim, and Aiden. I can’t wait to meet the newest member of your family.

Hannah is a very special little girl. Not only is she incredibly cute, but she is the daughter of my very dear friends Sean and Michelle. She was also born on Friday the 13th, which I think is pretty cool! I was fortunate enough to go to San Francisco a few weeks ago to meet this little angel. Interweb, meet Hannah!

Look at the detail on her little fingers. You can almost feel her skin. I love this shot of her hand wrapped around her mom’s finger because you really see how tiny she is! I don’t usually take pictures of babies with pacifiers but I decided to leave it in for this shot because it matched her mohair booties perfectly.

Mike and I have spent the last few days in San Francisco with our friends Sean and Michelle and their new baby girl Hannah. She is such a cutie! There are more pictures to come but since I know there are two patiently waiting grandmothers I thought I would post a little teaser.

Little baby Troy was so excited to meet his mom and dad that he decided to enter the world a whole four weeks early. His mom had wanted maternity portraits but was waiting until her belly got a little bit bigger. We had actually planned to do them the week he was born but he beat us to the chase.

I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was only eleven days old. Here are a few of this precious little bundle. I love the detail in this shot of his never-walked-on-before feet!
